Arsenal returned to winning ways in the
Premier League on Boxing Day, and in
doing so set a top-flight record when it
comes to netting against a single
opponent.
The Gunners edged out West Brom 1-0 at
Emirates Stadium, with Olivier Giroud
helping to stretch a remarkable scoring
sequence against the men from the
Hawthorns.

Arsene Wenger clearly likes facing the
Baggies, with his side having now found
the target in 21 straight fixtures against a
favoured foe.

No side in the top-flight can match that
record, with the Gunners now in a league
of their own.
Wenger will be hoping that there are
further festive treats to come, with victory
on Monday helping to keep his side within
nine points of table-topping Chelsea.
